Three Orders

The Ladder of Ascension

The Society is divided into three distinct orders, comprising nine grades. Each step marks a deepening of the student's understanding of the alchemical and spiritual architecture of the universe.

The First Order

I. Zelator

The aspirant crosses the threshold of the secret knowledge.

II. Theoricus

A deepening of the theoretical understanding of natural law.

III. Practicus

Application of meditative discipline and ritual observation.

IV. Philosophus

Completion of the outer circle's fundamental lessons.

The Second Order

V. Adeptus Minor

Entering the inner sanctum of the Rosicrucian light.

VI. Adeptus Major

Mastery of the philosophical elements of the Great Work.

VII. Adeptus Exemptus

The final grade of the Adept before the High Council.

The Third Order

VIII. Magister Templi

Guardian of the temple and of the ancient tradition.

IX. Magus

The highest attainment of wisdom within the Society.
